It's probably for the best. The world just isn't ready for an epic fantasy about planets that hold boxing matches against each other. On much larger planets, obviously

Just like a modern Shakespeare

Hopefully it won't get to this point after months of writing. I really wouldn't relish looking back on all the time spent working on a book having been, in retrospect, just attempting to weld blank pages together.

I've started writing at least three pages a day (an idea I got from Pullman) and I'm surprised that it actually helps other things get done faster as well! Took a break from it this evening though, figured I'd try and start updating at least ever Wednesday!

Now all I need is a bloody job and I can get back to not being totally out of money! Charity work is good experience and keeps me out of a rut, but damnit so does earning cash!

Gah, drink and sleep are looking pretty good now... a waterbed would be perfect, in theory.

I've written a couple novels that were about that readable.

Long as ye've gotten through them then that's impressive! With a lot of things it can be tempting to take the whole 'Starting is half the work' motto out of context and just say "Well that's the first page done. I'm halfway through!"

It is the best argument, ever, but it really stops good work getting done... or good not-burning-down-the-house-for-shits'n'giggles getting not-burned-down.

Heh. New comic going up either later tonight or tomorrow! :)
