Like a lot of people I was a little iffy about the Max Payne movie, but after about a decade of waiting there was no way I was gonna miss checking it out on the ol' bigscreen.
All in all it was surprisingly true to the games (kinda both rolled into one, give or take a few things), but it coulda used more bullet-time, whether it'd have been relevant at all or not!
Only real problem was this line, which at - what I'm sure was intended to be a touching moment of dialogue - had me giggling immaturely in the cinema.
Guess they could have found a better way to phrase it considering the original face of Max Payne was notoriously scrunchy and flatulent-looking (apologies to Sam Lake, I mean that in the best possible way)!
I confess that the face in the 4th panel is a trace from a screenshot, I didn't want to take any risks in screwing up that screwed up visage!
Lastly, sorry for the extremely poor update schedule here, I've had this one pencilled for a long while but what with work and the holidays, it was hard to find the time to get it inked and coloured.
More comics on the way though! I give you my word!
By far the most horrendous thing I've ever drawn
