Okay, so there was a problem with a) my hard drive, b) the RAM and c) the motherboard. Quality equipment from HP, huh?
Two of those three problems have been dealt with (the motherboard should apparently be fine, but we're still keeping an eye on it), and now all I need to do is reinstall the Windows with the boot discs.
The boot discs I had to pay £25 for. The boot discs which are, apparently, also faulty. The boot discs which I now have to ask to be replaced, delivered, and which - if they're in replacement of faulty goods - should legally be free.
Knowing HP's customer service though... well only time will tell. As soon as I can find my way around the maze of directions given to me by their website and telephone operators.
In the meanwhile I'm trying to coax Cam into adding some stuff to the site. Most likely WOW reportage or something.
I'll be uploading some comics sporadically, but my first priority is finding work! Any kind, freelance design/illustration, independant projects (so far a fruitless endeavour) or just a regular job behind a til or something. I wish there were more design based jobs going around here, becuase that seems to be the only thing I'm qualified for! Damnit, somebody hire me for something! Rarr!
